This last weekend we were asked if we could take the office couple, Elder and Sister Larson, to the Joseph Smith Birthplace and then to Maine for Lobster.  This is their first time away from office duties in a year.  Anyway we went with them and had a wonderful weekend.  One the way back we stopped and went to church in Werschester, MA.  Here are some of the pictures from the trip. Fall in New York

Already Oct 13th.  Can't believe how fast time is going.  We taught Sunday School again last Sunday and had a great discussion.  One more person asked for a Book Of Mormon and we passed out more info to include stuff on family history.  We don't know what will ever become of what we did but we know that a lot of positive seeds were planted.

The weather is starting to change and so are the fall colors.


This is the "North Country" of New York in the Fall.  Because of all the trees it is so beautiful everywhere you look.

 Here are some wild turkeys that we see almost on a daily basis.

 It is so pretty here.  There are lakes and streams everywhere!

Oct Update

Today was a first.  Sunday morning before conference we taught the Sunday School lesson at the Presbyterian Church.  It was a wonderful experience.  Our message was well received with sincere interest.  Several of them have had LDS friends.  There were 14 who came and they all knew we were coming so they came because they wanted to.  We will teach again next week.  We gave out 5 Book of Mormons, The Family Proclamation, The Restoration and Plan of Salvation pamphlets. There was a good feeling of friendship in the room.

Conference was so good.  Love the words of the those who spoke.  Our Testimonies really grew today when once again we were reminded of how much knowledge we have because of the Gospel and how important a living Prophet is.  We are feeling most blessed.
